DEMONSTRATIVE  EVIDENCE  EXPERTS

The Power of Visual Thinking: Our Services

Psychologists who have studied the way people learn have discovered that roughly 2/3 of the population (2/3 of any jury pool and many judges) are visual learners. Most people process and recall new information presented in a visual format much better than when the same information is presented to them verbally.

After decades of successfully helping trial attorneys win cases, Bill knows well what has been proven through research: jurors will understand and retain information better when visual presentations — demonstrative exhibits — are used. No matter how good you or your medical expert are at talking about medical issues, using visual aids will dramatically enhance your persuasiveness and ability to educate your audience.

Using his deep knowledge and long experience, Bill will work closely with you and your experts to develop the most effective trial strategy to visually communicate your client’s story, weaving it into your trial theme to produce the greatest impact on jurors.

Case consultations

Besides creating effective physical exhibits, Bill offers consultation services to help trial attorneys better understand the anatomical, pathological and surgical aspects of their clients’ injuries. These consultations have proven to be valuable in preparing attorneys to more knowledgeably pursue complex lines of questioning involving anatomy or surgery at deposition. The resulting information often helps attorneys develop their trial themes for cases as well. Bill has also been hired to make presentations to insurance adjusters and opposing counsel, using his exhibits to explain a plaintiff’s injuries, their operations and their prognoses, a strategy that has led to early settlements.

Bill…your recent consulting with me and the medical illustrations you produced on the Supreme Court matter that was settled for over one million dollars reminds me of how invaluable your participation is and has been over the many years we have worked together.

All your expertise and skill manifests itself in more than just your exhibits. You are able to explain medical better than most doctors and give me a better platform from which to prepare and then elicit testimony from medical professionals.
